Solution: In the past, I've recommended recording software to teachers but technology has changed and improved so much over the past few years. If you have access to an iOS mobile device, Dragon Dictation is a great tool to use. You simply tap on the screen and begin dictating then tap again to stop. Once you stop dictating, you'll see a text editor where you can use the keyboard on your device to make any edits needed in your text. Dictation can be resumed as needed. To share your text with others, you have the option to email, cut, copy or send to Facebook or Twitter. If email isn't an option for your students, copying the text to another app or to a Google Doc could be a fairly easy work around.
